Pet Policy
Many Housing Authority properties allow residents to
own pets. Pets must be registered with the Authority before being
brought onto the property.
- The pet must be a common household pet such as a
dog, cat, fish or bird.
- The pet may weigh a maximum of 25 pounds.
- A household may have a maximum of two pets. Only
one pet may be a dog or a cat.
- Dogs and cats must be spayed or neutered.
- Dogs, cats and birds must have yearly veterinary
examinations to ensure that the animal is healthy and remains current on
required vaccinations.
- Owners must pay a separate pet deposit.

Assistance Animals are also allowed in Housing Authority properties.
