The Hyder Apartment Community room is available for residents to socialize with other tenants or to visit with friends and family.

The Hyder Community Room was redecorated in 2007.

In addition to comfortable areas for conversation, the Hyder Community Room has access to an outdoor deck for container gardening and a large dining area where carry in dinners are held.

The Hyder computer lounge has two computers for the tenants to use for checking email and browsing the internet.
